Medicine for Mountaineering 6th Edition – looks like it will be available at the end of the month

Medicine for Mountaineering has been one of my favorite texts on backcountry first aid for years and years.  I’m really looking forward to seeing what has changed in the new edition.  If you supplement it with some WFR or EMT training, you will be well prepared to handle the vast majority of situations you’ll face.

    Thanks for the update. Amazon is still taking pre-orders. Hopefully it will start shipping soon.

    As of 9/7/9 the new edition is not out yet.
